Multiple tornado warnings went through Dallas County Thursday night. 

The first of four warnings was issued around 7:15 p.m. for Northeastern Dallas County. The National Weather Service reported a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado located near Woodward. The weather service expired the warning around 7:30 p.m.

Another tornado warning was issued around 7:21 p.m. for Southeastern Dallas County as the National Weather Service reported a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near DeSoto.

Two additional tornado warnings were issued for Southeastern Dallas County with the last one expiring at 8:30 p.m. No damage was reported, with the main threats being heavy rainfall and pea-sized hail.

Raccoon Valley Radio’s severe weather coverage started around 5:04 p.m. as a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Greene County, followed closely by another warning in Guthrie County before the line of storms moved into Dallas County. 

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams said there was consistent pea-sized hail across the county along US Highway 30 and south, along with heavy rainfall.

The severe thunderstorm warnings were allowed to expire in Greene and Guthrie counties at 8 p.m.
