
The AC/GC Chargers only ended up competing in one sport yesterday due to weather.
The Chargers track and field teams were supposed to compete at a meet hosted by the West Central Valley Wildcats, but the meet was postponed due to weather. Both golf teams were able to compete though, facing off against the Woodward-Granger Hawks, Interstate 35 Roadrunners and Panorama Panther. The boys team came in fourth, finishing with 203 strokes. Sayer Birline-Huss led the way for the team with 40 strokes, followed up by Ryne Nolan with 52, Easton Gettler with 54, and Cash Suhr with 57.
The girls golf team finished third, ending with 241 total strokes. Rylee Robson led the way for the team, taking 7th place with 56 strokes, while Allie DeWitt and Ava Sneller took 9th and 10th places with 57 and 58 strokes respectively. Carrie Downing and Alli Wiers rounded out the team, taking 17th and 18th places with 70 and 77 strokes respectively.
