Two relay teams represented Perry at the Drake Relays on Saturday, as the boys 4×100 and girls 4×100 competed for glory for the Perry Bluejays and Jayettes.

The girls 4×100 meter relay team toed the line first, finishing the race in 51.14 seconds. Cate Erickson, Lily Myers, Mariana Cerna, and Treasure Moore claimed 68th place in a stacked event, with the best runners in the state competing. For the Bluejays, Rylan Modlin, Bryan Chavez, Xavier Leake, and Michael Bahtagic finished the race in 44.09 seconds to claim 75th.

Perry track returns to action on Tuesday, as the Jayettes travel to ADM High School while the Bluejays travel to Carlisle. Both meets are set to begin at 4:15pm.
