Those interested in beef cattle production can attend an upcoming workshop in Adel. 

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Dallas County will host the workshop from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13 at the Extension Office, 28061 Fairground Road, in Adel.

Iowa State University Extension beef specialist Chris Clark says the program will highlight hands-on learning with a new artificial insemination model. He adds that ISU Cow Calf Specialist Randie Culbertson will also offer tips to optimize reproduction efficiency. 

The cost is $20 and will include a light meal. The registration deadline is May 6.
