The Panorama Girls Soccer Team kept their strong start to the 2026 season going, after defeating Van Meter 6-1 in Panora on Tuesday for their fifth win overall.

The Panthers had a good offensive night, tallying four goals in the first half to take a 4-0 advantage into the break. The Bulldogs did record a single goal to avoid the shutout in the second half, but two more goals by Panorama saw them reach a 6-1 victory.

Senior Morgan Crees led the Panthers with three goals and one assist, as junior Nerea Gimeno-Perez, freshman Kailee Kautzky, and sophomore Ruth Fett scored one goal each, as Gimeno-Perez did add two assists. Also, sophomore goalie Meredith Arganbright had two saves in the contest.

With the win, Panorama improves to 5-1 on the season, while Van Meter falls to 4-4-2 overall. The Bulldogs will return home to host North Polk on Friday, and the Panthers will travel to Stuart to face West Central Valley tomorrow at 5:30pm.
