Those wanting to learn how to support the pollinator population with trees can attend a program on Saturday.

Executive Director Melissa Burdick will lead a Trees for Bees lecture from 2-4 p.m. in the Vista Room at The Brenton Arboretum, 25141 260th Street, outside of Dallas Center.

She will talk about trees for Iowa landscapes that are especially beneficial to local pollinators. The conversation will range from large overstory trees to selections for the smaller landscape as well as shrubs.
