The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board met in regular session on Monday.

Superintendent Greg Dufoe recognized the board members and handed out certificates to Fiesta as May is School Board Recognition Month in Iowa. 

The board also heard reports about the high school student council and District Career and Academic Plan.

Items on the agenda that were approved included 2026-27 school nutrition pricing, a cafeteria table purchase and weight room equipment for the new high school project.

Other items that were approved included door access and secure entrance upgrade and concrete projects at Adel Elementary along with the middle and high schools.

The board also went into a closed session for non-bargaining employees.
