The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved a local liquor license and retail tobacco license for Panora Liquor LLC, and set a public hearing for a proposed fiscal year 2025-26 budget amendment for May 26th at 5:30pm. They also approved interfund transfers for the fiscal year 2026 budget, and a resolution authorizing a request to the Iowa Department of Transportation for the closure of Highway 44 at certain times on the days of July 20th and 21st for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI), as well as July 31st, August 1st and 2nd for Panorama Days.
