The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union recently released the soccer pairings, as West Central Valley discovered they will be playing Van Meter towards the end of the month.

The Wildcats will be in the Class 1A Region 6 section, as they’ll battle the Bulldogs in Van Meter on May 28th. Treynor was awarded the number one seed in the top half of the bracket, and will face the winner between Clarke Community and Atlantic that same night. West Central Valley already played Van Meter earlier this year on April 27th in Stuart, resulting in a 1-1 tie. Junior Addilynn Richter had the lone goal for the Wildcats, and freshman Julia Teigland scored for the Bulldogs.

The contest on May 28th will be held from Van Meter School East Athletic Campus, beginning at 5:30pm.
