More qualifiers for the 2026 Iowa State Track and Field meet were announced after the automatic qualifiers came out Thursday night.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center has a total of 10 events that will be competing, with the 4×200 meter relay team of Meranda Gruber, Savanna Akers, Cadence Petersen and Nora Langgaard, along with Cadence Petersen in the 400 meter hurdles heading to the Blue Oval for the girls team. The sprint medley relay team of Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Tommy Skram and Talon Noland, the shuttle hurdle relay team of Skram, Morgun Nolte, Collin Stringham and Schneider, 4×100 meter relay team of Crawford, Schneider, Skram and Noland, the 4×200 meter relay team of Crawford, Skram, Kade Sorensen and Noland, as well as Preston Kent in the 3200 meter race, Schneider in the 110 meter high hurdles, Ryan Martens in the long jump and Jack Sheeder in the shot put for the boys team will be heading to the state meet.

Panorama had athletes qualify in four events, with all being automatic qualifiers. The team will be sending Kylie Rochholz in the 1,500 and 3,000 meter races for the girls team, along with Reed Draper in the long jump and Syler Shaffer in the 400 meter hurdles for the boys team.

West Central Valley had only one automatic qualifier, but picked up a second qualifier as well. The team will be sending both Willow Ray and Talia Williams to the Blue Oval for the high jump. A full list of all qualifiers and their ranking in their event can be found in this story online.
