Several local entities will be collaborating to provide information to Perry residents next week.
Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says the next P.O.W.E.R. Hour program will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 at the Hotel Pattee. She outlines that the acronym stands for “Projects, Opportunities, Wisdom, Excitement, and Resources.”
Pasutti notes that the presenters will include Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson, RAGBRAI Marketing Co-Chair Chris Cohea, DMACC VanKirk Career Academy Director Eddie Diaz and herself for the Perry Chamber. She explains that the POWER Hour serves as a good outlet to keep residents informed of what is happening in the community.
“We encourage people to come out to the Hotel Pattee on the last Tuesday of May to take it all in and learn something new. I hear every time that people appreciate the opportunity to get those highlights and updates and they always learn something.
Pasutti details that the cost of registration is $15, which includes a boxed lunch. She encourages community members to register before Wednesday to reserve their spot. The registration link can be found by clicking here.
