Guthrie Center Junior and Senior high Special Olympics will be sending three bowlers to the State tournament in Des Moines later this month. The State bid came after the three bowlers, Angela, Matthew and Christal received first place in their divisions in a tournament at Des Moines’ Plaza Lanes last month. The district congratulates all the participants, each was awarded a place ribbon, and everybody represented Guthrie Center Schools with great sportsmanship. The three champion bowlers will head back to Des Moines to roll for the State crown on Saturday November 22nd.
