The first Heart of Iowa Activities Conference dual wrestling meet this season for the Greene County Rams will take place tonight. Coach Mark Sawhill’s team is 1-3 in dual meets prior to meeting Roland-Story in Story City tonight at 6:30 p.m. on KG98. The Norsemen are 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

Greene County has a trio of wrestlers has a quartet of wrestlers with just one loss this season. Senior Abe Yoder (132) is 6-1 and coming off winning an individual title at last Saturday’s Dallas Center-Grimes Invitational. Jordan Challen (138) is 4-1 and is ranked sixth in Class 2A. Tommy Bradshaw (145) is 6-1 and is also ranked sixth. Keyden Pollock is 3-1 at 182 lbs. Other Rams with winning records in the early going are Kane Borgeson, 6-3 at 106, and Isaiah Yoder, 5-2, at 170 lbs.

After tonight’s dual meet, the Rams travel to Ogden on Saturday, Dec. 13 for the Ogden dual meet tournament.
