
Greene County Medical Center recently announced the recipient of the 2014 Employee of the Year award.
Lori Herrick is the emergency department manager and was honored with the award. She has been an employee at the medical center since 1989 when she started as a part-time housekeeper. She moved to the laundry department and then became a certified nurse aide in Long Term Care. She earned her licensed practical nurse and her registered nurse licenses. Herrick has been the manager of ED since 2007.
Nominations were from any medical center employee. There were 13 other nominees for the award. Herrick was honored at a reception on January 29th along with recognizing all employees for their five-year milestone anniversaries.
