voteIt’s school board election day and the polls will be open from noon to 8pm in Greene County today.

Those in the Jefferson precinct must go to the south assembly room inside the Greene County Courthouse.  The Scranton precinct polling place is at the new City Hall.  Grand Junction voters can vote at St. Brigid parish center and the polling location for the Rippey precinct is at the community center.  There are two candidates running for two available seats on the Greene County School Board and there is a $20 million bond referendum on the ballot.

Voters in the Paton precinct will vote in the Shriver Community Building, while the polling place for the Churdan precinct is at their community center.  There are two candidates running for three available seats on the Paton-Churdan School Board.

For both school districts, voters are also asked to decide who they want as their representative on the Merged Area V Community College District Director.

Anyone who is physically not able to vote at their respective location, can vote inside their vehicle.  Contact the Greene County Auditor’s office at 386-5680 for more information.
