Each year, the Warren Cultural Center brings nationally touring acts to their small venue in downtown Greenfield.

Executive Director Ken Sidey works hard to book the lineup for the Premier Performance Series each year and occasionally likes to mix the headlining acts with something local. That will be the case when Iowa State’s traveling a cappella ensemble, Shy of a Dozen, kicks off the series with a variety of hits on October 24th. “They sing all sorts of styles of music. Everything from Beethoven to the Beach Boys. They bring really great vocal talent with a lot of harmony and blends. We’re looking forward to the series kicking off with them. The opening act for that show will be the Nodaway Valley High School men’s chorus. They will do a few numbers to start that show.”
