Perry’s Historic Preservation Commission and Hometown Heritage are currently seeking nominations for the Wall of Witnesses.
Located in Soumas Court, the wall recognizes those who have gone before us and stand as witnesses to our care of the community, and those who set the course both in the present and in the future.
As we recently reported, the Perry Chamber has approved an annual hotel/motel grant for the project, in the amount of $500, to help cover the cost of the art piece.
Applications for individuals to be considered for the honor can be picked up at the McCreary Community Building, Perry Public Library, City Hall or from one of the Historic Preservation Commissioners. All nominations need to be submitted by June 6th.
