The Dallas County Library Association and 4R Kids are once again hosting the annual Toddler Fest this weekend.

Perry Public Library Director Mary Murphy says it’s a great event for families with young kids.

“What you will find out is all of the services that are available in Dallas County for children.  Let alone get a free book, get toothbrushes, there’s so many freebies at this thing.  If you’ve never been to the Science Center (of Iowa) or the Blank Park Zoo, they are going to be there.  So they have a couple of animals there, (and) something going on to fascinate your kids.”

The event takes place from 10am until noon at the Dallas County Fairgounds in Adel.  There’s no cost to attend and the festival is geared towards children ages 2-5.  For more information, call 465-3569.
