Thursday, November 14th
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the reported theft of a Case IH fall tillage, 5 shank ripper, from Rueter’s Red Power in Grand Junction. The theft is under investigation at this time.
Fire units from Rippey, Grand Junction and Perry all responded to a field fire at 141 300th Street in Boone County.
A deputy investigated harassing phone calls received by a rural Greene County resident in the 1200 block 110th Street.
Aa deputy was dispatched to a car-deer accident on 220th Street just east of S Avenue. A 2010 Ford F 550 commercial pickup truck that is owned by Bauer Built Inc. of Carroll, and was being driven by Allen Alex Jet, also of Carroll, struck a deer as it crossed the roadway. Jet was not hurt in the accident but the Ford Truck sustained an estimated $2500 in damages.
A deputy was advised of a vehicle that had driven its front wheels into the ditch at 140th Street and Lakeland Avenue and was not operational. The five occupants of the vehicle were asking for a tow truck to help remove the car. Upon the deputy’s arrival and investigation the deputy subsequently arrested one juvenile for a Blood Alcohol Content of .095.
Friday, November 15th
A deputy while on routine patrol discovered several overhead electrical lines sparking at 110th Street and J Avenue. Midland Powr was called and informed of the situation.
A deputy checked a reported suspicious vehicle on 252nd Street.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
