Guthrie Co. CourthouseThe Guthrie County Board of Supervisors meet this morning in the first of their bi-weekly sessions.

The Supervisors will begin today’s meeting by discussing sanitary district bonds in relation to a possible sewage upgrade at Diamondhead Lake.

Supervisor Everett Grasty will then address the rest of the Board to discuss the bylaws of the Raccoon River Watershed Management Authority.  Grasty will also ask the Board to ratify a resolution pertaining to the Middle South Raccoon Watershed.

In Thursday’s meeting, new Guthrie County Public Health Administrator Jotham Arber will give an update from his department.

Denise Ballard will also address the Supervisors Thursday to discuss an update in the county’s Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan (IGHCP).

Today and Thursday’s meetings both begin at 9am in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
