The Dallas County Conservation Board has announced the dates for their fall Monarch Tagging event.

Tomorrow, area residents are invited to join the board at the Voas Conservation Area near Minburn from 5 to 6:30pm.  Attendees will walk around the nature area with a net in hand, capturing monarchs and recording their field data before tagging and releasing them back to the wild.

This year the program was moved to an on-call event aimed at notifying potential participants on when the monarchs start migrating south for the season.
