Elwood Schrock of Williamsburg was traveling east on Interstate 80 near the 118 mile marker when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

David Allen McElvogue, age 28 of 1010 Gratis Ave., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference-original charge of public intoxication and assault.
