One sign of a great team is the ability not to overlook any one game on the schedule, to keep up the intensity and focus at the highest level each and every time they step on the court. The ADM girls basketball team expects nothing less than the same. Head coach Corey Schneider and his staff have bee working on keeping the tempo up in practices to make sure the Lady Tigers don’t overlook their opponent in Carroll.

Coach Schneider says one of the things that could get in the way of another ADM win would be overconfidence.

“I think overconfidence is one thing. Carroll has bee struggling the last couple years and I think it’s easy for people to look at them and go through the motions,” said Schneider.

Even though the Lady Tigers  won each meeting with Carroll last year, the ADM girls got quite the run for their money in the first match up.

“The first game we kind of did go through the motions and while we were able to pull out the win it definitely wasn’t one of our better games,” explained coach Schneider.

Coach Schneider and the Lady Tigers will simply focus on themselves during practice this week.

“We just need to focus on us this week, play our game, and not worry about our opponent and if we come out and play the way we have been playing we’ll be just fine,” explained coach Schneider.

Look for the Tigers to keep their focus as they take on Carroll Friday night with game tip off starting at 6:00 pm
