This year’s postseason run for the Panorama Panthers’ volleyball team (6-15) will begin against a league foe. The Panthers are one of five West Central Conference teams competing in the Class 2A Region 3 bracket, joining AC/GC (14-7), Madrid (10-12), Woodward-Granger (14-10), and Ogden (8-9). Panorama opens their playoff run on Tuesday, October 17, traveling to Madrid to face the Tigers. The Panthers started this season in Madrid on August 24, falling in five sets (20-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 4-15). The winner of the match advances to face AC/GC in the regional quarterfinal round on Monday, October 23, in Guthrie Center. The bracket’s semifinal round takes place October 26, and a regional champion will be crowned on October 31 in Underwood.

Panorama traveled to Dallas County Tuesday for a West Central Conference match versus the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The Panthers lost to the Hawks in straight sets (8-25, 12-25, 17-25). The loss drops Panorama’s overall record to 6-16. The Panthers resume regular season competition in Anita Saturday in a tournament hosted by CAM High School.
