As Easter approaches, there are several opportunities in Guthrie County for kids to take part in a holiday tradition.

Panora, Guthrie Center, and Stuart will each be having an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20th. The Panora Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a community Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m., rain or shine, at the Guthrie County Historical Village in Panora. Kids in fifth grade and under are invited to search for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. Meanwhile, Rose Acre Farms is sponsoring a community egg hunt at the Guthrie Elementary School Playground in Guthrie Center. Kids in sixth grade and below can meet the Easter Bunny from 10:00-10:45 a.m. At 10:50 a.m. the elementary school food drive winners will be announced and egg hunt instructions will be given, with the hunt starting at 11. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the ACGC High School gym, and change of location will be posted at the elementary school entrance that morning.

Later that afternoon will be the Stuart Community Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. at the City park, rain or shine. There will be three different age groups for kids 10-years-old and younger. For information on other area Easter egg hunts visit the community calendar page at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
