The unofficial results are in for local and school board elections that occurred in and around Guthrie County.

For the contested Guthrie Center City Council race, Fidel Hernandez received the most votes with 222, with incumbents Ian Steensen and Garold Thomas following with 218 and 172 respectively. Five candidates ran for the three seats. For the two contested Panorama School Board races, Damon Crandall received a five-vote margin over Lucas Wendl for the District 5 seat, and Lila Lutz had a 29-vote margin over Kellie Flanery for District 4. For the one contested West Central Valley School Board race, incumbent Jen Clemetson
surpassed Eric Gerling with a 72 vote lead.

Those elected for the Stuart City Council aren’t immediately clear, as voters were asked to elect two, and candidates Kristina Renslow and Michael Kalbach received 65 and 92 votes respectively, while there were 68 write-in votes. The City of Bagley also passed a public measure to grant a franchise to Xenia Rural Water District with 59 votes in favor and 3 opposing. A public measure also passed for the City of Guthrie Center to build a new bathhouse and public restroom facility, with 187 votes in favor and 78 opposing. All results are unofficial until they are canvassed by the city or school board’s respective Board of Supervisors.
