The Panorama Panthers were represented in the pre-season individual rankings by IAWrestle.com.

In the initial rankings, Wyatt Appleseth was ranked fifth in class 2A. The Junior put up a 34-3 record in his sophomore season. Appleseth was also ranked tenth in the websites All-Iowa rankings which takes the best 10 wrestlers, regardless of class. Panorama will begin their 2019 campaign with a quad at Southeast Valley High School. There the Panthers will face Southeast Valley, Coon Rapids Bayard, and Manson Northwest Webster. Against the same teams a season ago, Panorama went 1-2 on the night. Panorama beat Coon Rapids Bayard 48-24, then fell to Manson Northwest Webster 37-36, and lost to Southeast Valley 45-36.
