The Chargers baseball and softball teams faced a tough opponent last night, as they hosted the Des Moines Christian Lions for doubleheader action. The baseball team started off down, as the Lions grabbed 4 runs in the first, and only allowed the Chargers 1. AC/GC was held scoreless the rest of the game, as the Des Moines Christian grabbed another 6 runs in the seconds, 2 in the third, 1 in the fourth and 2 in the fifth, ending the game early and handing the Chargers a 1-15 loss. The softball team had better luck in keeping close, but finished the game with their first loss of the season with a 10-17 score.
