The Carroll High girls’ swim team goes to Ames at noon today for a Regional meet with State Meet berths on the line. Greene County freshman Ava Hinote is swimming for Carroll under an athletic sharing agreement. Hinote is coming off a four event, four first place finish performance last week in the regular season finale vs. Perry and Algona.

She is scheduled to swim in four events today, two individually and on two relays, all freestyle races. She’s in the 100 yard and 200 freestyle individual races, and the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.  She’s the daughter of Josh and Audrey Hinote of Jefferson.
