The Perry girls basketball team will have a familiar face patrolling the court this upcoming season.  David Morris, who serves as the boy’s head varsity coach, has agreed to coach the Jayettes this winter.  The veteran coach has guided the Perry boy’s basketball team to respectability in the Heart of Iowa Conference the past two seasons and will look to duplicate the success on the girls hardwood.  The first day of practice across the state of Iowa for girls basketball is today.  Teams are allowed to conduct full practices beginning today.  The boys first official practice will be next week.  Be listening the Dallas County PM Sports Page as KDLS talks with Morris and the upcoming opportunities for this season.
