A fun way to help out this holiday season is coming up Saturday.

A Giving Christmas member Deb Douglass says that their Holiday Cruise fundraiser will be traversing the roads around Lake Panorama. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they are asking for a free will donation, and shares some more about the event.

“This is our third year and it’s grown each year and it just was kind of a fun way to raise money instead of just, you know, asking people for donations all the time. It’s sort of a good social event. They kind of see what you’re all about. They get to meet the people involved.”

Douglass mentions that A Giving Christmas works to make sure that all children are able to have an enjoyable Christmas. She adds that they do ask people to preregister by calling or texting her at 901-484-3937, or emailing the group at givinginc6@gmail.com. To make a donation, individuals can write a check and hand it off to A Giving Christmas member, donate at Guthrie County State Bank in Guthrie Center and Panora or Rolling Hills State Bank in Stuart, as well as use the groups Venmo @givinginc.
