
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board met in regular session on Monday.
According to ADM Secretary Josh Jacobs, the board reviewed and accepted a speaker agreement with Kate Garnes LLC for the Spring Central District Conference on February 26th, 2026 at the high school in Adel.
Jacobs shares that other items on the agenda that were approved included a consortium agreement with Woodward Academy for an instructional program, a Special Education Services Agreement Plan for the School Business Official to sign and execute Special Education Interagency Agreements, and a quote for $31,106.94 with Communication Innovators for the installation of the fiber line at the new ADM High School.
Jacobs notes that additional approved items included a 19-month contract extension with Atlantic Bottling Company to sponsor the Activities Department, a Supporting Ongoing Achievement Responsively (SOAR) Math Intervention Agreement with Institute for Learning from the University of Pittsburgh in the amount of $3,306.67, and the board approved the departure of the Carroll Community School District from the Raccoon River Conference to take effect during the 2026-27 school year.
