The journey to the state tournament begins today for the Perry Jayettes golf team as the Jayettes travel to Nishna Hills in Atlantic for the Class 3A regional golf meet.

The Jayettes will face off against golfers from: ADM, Atlantic, Clarke Community, Creston, Des Moines Christian, Gilbert, Glenwood, Harlan Community, North Polk, Saydel and Winterset. To qualify for state as a team, the Jayettes must place first or second as a squad. For individuals, the top six individuals and those tied for 6th place, also advance to the next level of play, regardless of if the Jayettes qualify as a team or not.

The dream of heading to state is on the line today as the Jayettes golf team travel to Atlantic for the Class 3A regional golf meet.
