Mother nature decided to end the night early for the ADM and Ballard baseball teams last night.

The Bombers and the Tigers were set to square off in a double header with the first match up slated for 5:30 pm with the second game to follow. The first match up couldn’t make it out of the fourth inning before lightning started to dance across the sky which would soon give way to the rain which in turn would end the night for both teams.

Through the first four innings of play in game number one the Bombers were leading the Tigers 6-1 before inclement weather put a pause on the game. Both games will continue on as this Thursday has been announced as the make up date in Adel. The JV squads will square off at 3:00 pm which will allow game number one of the varsity double header to resume following the conclusion of the JV game. Game number two of the varsity double header will commence at it’s regularly scheduled time of 7:30 pm

Again, the Varsity double header last night was postponed due to weather. The make up date for those game will be this Thursday in Adel with JV commencing at 3:00, the varsity will finish out game number one following the JV game, and the second game of the varsity double header will commence at 7:30 pm.
