The ADM softball team had to head back home a little early due to inclement weather last night. No make up date has yet been scheduled.

As you take a look at the overall picture for the Raccoon River Conference, standings will appear as follows as of last night:

1) Carlisle-(5-1)

2) Winterset-(4-1)

3) ADM-(5-1)

4) Boon-(3-2)

5) Ballard-(2-2)

6) Perry-(1-4)

7) Carroll-(0-4)

8) Bondurant-Farrar-(0-5)

For the ADM softball team, they sit at third in the conference in team batting average so far on the season with .363 and also rank third in RBI’s  with 30. On the mound the Tigers rank second in team ERA with 1.43. Senior Molly Jacobsen leads not only the Tigers but the entire RRC in individual ERA on the season at 0.38 forcing opposing batting averages down to a mere .096. Jacobsen’s 209 strike outs on the year so far leads the entire RRC by 123 strikeouts while leading all of class 4A by 77 strikeouts.

The Lady Tigers will be back in action tonight on the road to take on Greene County, a game you can catch on KG98 and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com. First pitch is slated for 7:30 pm
