The Lady Wildcats of West Central Valley fell in straight sets to Glidden-Ralston after falling 12-25, 15-25, 10-25. The Lady Wildcats had a tough matchup and were unable to recover from a slow start that ultimately led to their loss.
They tried to keep up with the talented team from Glidden-Ralston, but junior Gretchen Wallace was too much, as she tallied 11 kills in three sets for the home side, helping put away West Central Valley.
The Lady Wildcats have been competitive in all of their matches but have been unable to get over the hump so far to get their first win. They hope to change that next Tuesday when they host Des Moines Christian.
