2024 Greene County High School graduate Kaylee Stalder is a sophomore on the highly successful Grand View University (Des Moines) women’s volleyball team. The Vikings are one of NAIA’s (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) top teams with a 27-3 record and number 24 national ranking heading into action this weekend. Grand View is the regular season champion the Heart of America Athletic Conference, going 17-1 in league play. The Vikings wrapped up the title on Oct. 31 at Lamoni vs. Graceland College in four sets.

Stalder has played in 11 varsity matches and 20 sets to this point of the season and she was recognized by the Vikings Sports Information Department in their story vs. Graceland for getting some early kills in set four. The 5′ 10″ hitter is studying nursing and she’s the daughter of Kyle and Cherie Stalder.

The Vikings are at home in Des Moines tomorrow for the first round of the HOAC Tournament match.
