The Ram Relays track and field meet was held on Monday at Linduska Field in Jefferson with the girls from Greene County winning the team title and the boys were second to Carroll. Coach Derek Merk’s team scored 112 points, just ahead of Woodward-Granger at 108 with Boone at 100. Carroll was fourth with 85 points with Webster City at 84, Perry 72, East Sac County 56, and 43 for ACGC. The Tigers scored 161 points to easily win the boys’ title, followed by 111.5 for the Rams and 105.5 for Boone. ACGC was fourth at 78, Perry had 62, and East Sac County 37.

The girls had one first place event when senior Kaycee Pittman won the 800 meter run in 2:27.66. The Rams were second four times and second twice.

The Rams had a one-two finish in the 100 meter dash with junior Zack Stalder winning in 11.83 seconds and junior Lincoln Schwander second in :12.03. Drew Wolterman won the 800 meter run in 2:08.04 and the sprint medley relay was a winner in 1:40.46 with senior Aden Bardole, Stalder, Wolterman, and freshman Murphy Schwander. The Rams also had three second place finishes.

Next up is the Tiger Relays in Carroll on Thursday for the Greene County girls and boys.
