In a high school boys’ soccer non-conference makeup match on Tuesday, Des Moines Christian was a 2-0 winner against Greene County on the Lions’ home field in Urbandale. Coach Chad Black’s Rams were shut out for the first time this season, and they lost two games in a row for the first time in 2026 as well. The offense has scored just one goal combined in the Monday night loss in Monroe to PCM and the loss to the Lions.

DMC is now 10-2-1 and all 10 victories have been by shut out. Greene County is 7-4 with all four losses on the road. Coach Black told Raccoon Valley Radio his team had six shots on the night. Senior goalkeeper Teagan Chisholm had six saves and the coach said three of the saves were really good diving saves. “We played hard against a disciplined passing team. Good game in my view.”

The Rams host 8-3 Nevada on May 12 at Linduska Field in Jefferson in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play.
