The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is looking forward to one of their regular events for the month.
Director Jerri Hawkins says that their cookbook club will be meeting later this month, giving those wishing to take part plenty of time to find a recipe from popular chef, Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that any recipe can be used.
“So any Pioneer Woman’s recipe cookbook, you can pick a recipe and bring that dish in to share and enjoy a potluck of her recipes that night. So that should be a fun event with lots of yummy food.”
Hawkins mentions that the meeting will be at 6pm on May 21st. She adds that they have many members, and that there are some from outside Guthrie Center that join in.
