On Monday, the Perry Bluejays soccer team begin the week on the road, traveling to Van Meter to face off against the Bulldogs. The Bluejays enter tonight’s contest with a 7-5-1 record after a 1-0 victory over Gilbert last week.

Jose Ortega had the lone goal for Perry last week, and currently has five goals this season, tied with Alex Zamora and George Krohn. Jacobo Cerna-Gomez still leads the offensive charge for Perry with 14 goals on 21 shots on goal with eight assits.

The Bluejays look to keep momentum on their side and start the week off with a bang on the road, facing off against the Van Meter Bulldogs tonight at 4:30pm.
